Can you catch a molecule with a guitar string? What do pictures know? And are there smart wipers that protect us from floods? These were among the many questions that the exhibits of the traveling exhibition answered in a playful manner. Ten interactive multi-media "project islands" allowed visitors to experience how scientific ideas develop into research projects and, ultimately, knowledge that shapes our world and everyday lives.

Providing insights into current research topics, the traveling exhibition has been shown to a broad audience at more than 15 locations – including parliament buildings, science centers, and museums – since 2013.
