TRIAD China - Project Manager

Role Summary:

The project manager will be responsible for project coordination and communication during all phases of a project. Phases include but are not limited to pre-design, design development, schematic design, tender, construction supervision and acceptance of a project. The project manager will work as a leader on fast-paced interdisciplinary teams of architects, interior designers, graphic designers, illustrators, photographers and more, which deliver projects ranging from strategic planning to corporate showrooms and retail interiors. Key responsibilities of the project manager include schedule implementation, team allocation, budgeting and communication with team members, clients and consultants involved in the project.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with creative director and partners up with Account Managers and Lead Designers to lead and manage design and implementation of creative projects that achieve client’s project objectives
  • Conceptualize, create and organize each phase of a project according to time schedules and budged constraints
  • Maintains close contact with the client in order to control the expectations of the client
  • Preparation of presentations with the involvement of various teams
  • Creation, maintenance and implementation of timelines, project budgets and staff allocations
  • Have an interest in all aspects of architecture, interior design and team management
  • Sensibility for client requests and ambitions
  • Ability to quickly react to changing workflow requirements within the team and maintain a positive work environment
  • Strong project management skills, ability to think strategically and manage multiple priorities, anticipate demands, coordinate stringent deadlines and estimate time to complete work
  • Readiness to take on challenges and contribute to company’s growth, while maintaining integrity under pressure
     

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in project management, design, architecture or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher  (in related field, with relevant experience)
  • Proficiency in Drafting Software (AutoCad, Vectorworks etc.)
  • Additional software skills (MS Office, Sketchup, Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.) or similar
  • Works well as a member and head of a team and likes to help out others
  • Good communication in both Mandarin and English
