Expo 2010: Urban Planet Pavilion

Commissioned by the Chinese organizing committee of the Shanghai World Expo 2010, Triad Berlin has designed one of the main theme pavilions - the “Urban Planet.” Triad had won the international bidding for the 12,000 m² pavilion against more than 150 competitors.

With more than 8 million visitors "Urban Planet" was one of the most successful pavilions of the EXPO 2010.

Blue Planet

One of the highlights is the “Blue Planet”. The visitors experience five spectacular metamorphoses of the hemisphere, which go along with a visible dynamic of change and adaptation.
