First German Pasta Museum

The company Riesa Pasta opened the First German Pasta Museum as a measure to increase customer loyalty in the year 2003. In order to extend this, Triad Berlin reworked the diversified exhibition completely. The new concept and re-structuring of the museum form the first part of a large-scale reconstruction measure which is to be continued with the creation of a brand experience world, designed by Triad.

Concept

As past of the re-structuring of the permanent collection led to the focus was being directed to the company’s history, which German contemporary history. Chronological presentations of historic packag were the overall theme reflected of the exhibition, which included various artefacts bearing testimony to the company’s history. Multi-part display case ensembles present the main topics of “pasta all the time”, “pasta according to plan”, and “pasta in grand style”.

Exhibition Course / Exhibition Structure

In the re-designed entrance hall, visitors are now welcomed by the story of the giant (an icon thar is part of the logo on the pasta package) in the style of a historical paper theatre. Inside, exhibits bear testimony to the company’s multi-faceted history. The course ends with a show kitchen and an invitation to a mini-chef initiative. The initiative aims to introduce children to regional cuisine and healthy food.
