Villeroy & Boch at Ambiente 2010

For the first time, Triad Berlin realized a trade fair stand for Villeroy&Boch at Ambiente 2010. After the successful “260 Years of Villeroy&Boch” conference in Berlin and press events in Hamburg and Milan, the excellent cooperation between Triad and Villeroy&Boch has now continued. The trade fair stand presented the company’s rich traditions as well as its power of innovation in the tableware sector.

Flexibility and Sustainability

The 1180 sqm stand at the Ambiente is of importance to Villeroy&Boch far beyond the scope of the trade fair. For the first time ever, a new modular stand system has been employed. This new system will provide the basis for all future trade fair stands independently of the location or dimensions of the stand. To this end, Triad Berlin designed a system that can be used easily for all kind of events, reaching from an individual presentation to a complex trade fair stand. The new system provides for more flexibility and a higher efficiency of Villeroy & Boch’s trade fair presentations. At the same time, it is resource-friendly by using a considerably higher portion of recyclable elements.

Trade fair architecture

In the centre of the stand, an atrium provides ample space for customer service. Directly above the atrium, oversized dish-like decorations are fixed to monumental candleholders, creating the impression of a sky above the exhibition room. The different product divisions are arranged around the atrium. Here, visitors can immerse themselves in the dense atmospheres of the worlds of tableware being presented. Moreover, computer animations were produced specifically for the trade fair and show the making of the decors for the four new collections presented at the Ambiente. Three-dimensional dishes from the respective collections, blown up ten times, serve as screens for the animations.
