Thinking of Germany

In coordination with the two initiators Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft and Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Triad Berlin helped develop the conference program and supported panel recruitment for the inaugural “Thinking of Germany” – conference. In addition, Triad was in charge of the overall planning and organization of the conference as well as the evening dinner including all event architecture and conference design. Two speakers with opposing views kicked off the discussions of each panel. On the basis of provocative perspectives the select panelists passionately and controversially debated their views of Germany. The journalist Henryk M. Broder, the professor Dr. Renate Köcher from the distinguished Allensbach Institute for opinion research, the philosopher Peter Sloterdijk, and former Federal Minister of Finance Peer Steinbrück were among the prominent speakers.

Conference Design

The complete conference took up the visual elements of the “Thinking of Germany” logo and served as the leitmotif throughout the conference setting. The panels were placed at the center of the overall conference setting and, therefore, in the center of everyone’s attention. Highlights from the exhibition “Colour Value – BlackRedGold” welcomed the visitors at the foyer.

Evening Event

Even in the gala venue, the visual and thematic leitmotifs were elaborated on the conference theme. Long tables, fine German cuisine and another set of highlights from exhibition “colour values – blackredgold” provided a comfortable atmosphere during the dinner that took place in the former generator hall of the transformer station in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
