For the first time, the newspaper endorsed a non-profit initiative and kindly requested donations: The German Street Soccer network, consisting of eight local German chapters, presented their work in the year of the World Championship in South Africa and kindly asked the guests to support the fantastic initiative with donations.
Süddeutsche Zeitung: New Year’s Day reception 2010
Like every year, Süddeutsche Zeitung kicked off the New Year Reception season. More than 700 famous guests from politics, press and media, business, culture, and sports met on the January 12 at the Martin Gropius Bau (distinguished multi-functional exhibition space in Berlin) for an exclusive evening reception. Fine wine and delicious food, a relaxed atmosphere and ample opportunity for conversation were key to the success of the reception.
Süddeutsche Zeitung is one of the German leading national newspapers. It was the third time that Triad Berlin conceived and organized this event.

The German Chancellor Merkel welcomes the Chinese Urban Planet Delegation
On the fringes of the event, the chancellor Angela Merkel briefly met with a Chinese EXPO delegation from Shanghai. During the previous days, the high-ranking delegation visited Berlin and met with Triad Berlin to discuss the EXPO 2010 Urban Planet Pavillion project which Triad conceived, designed and curated.
