A Crafter for Every Situation

Under the title of “Ein Crafter für alle Fälle” (A Crafter for Every Situation), Triad developed a nation-wide roadshow to brush up the theoretical knowledge of Volkswagen salespeople about the Crafter, as well as to devise concrete practical arguments and empowerment strategies. Some 800 salespersons received ample information on the qualities of the Crafter, participating in theory sessions, comparative races, and an Eco Driving Training.

Fuel Economy Training

In 17 Crafters equipped with special measurement systems, salespeople drove the same route twice, accompanied by their personal ECO trainer from Volkswagen Driving Experience. The first time, they drove without special instructions; the second time, they received direct and easy to implement tips to optimize their fuel economy. Participants achieved an economization of 10 to 30 per cent. In the subsequent plenary presentation, a speaker from Volkswagen Driving Experience evaluated and presented the results, using concrete examples.

Comparative Races

In special races, participants had the chance to test their product in direct comparison with its competitors. Fifteen cars at a time participated in these races (2 Crafters, 13 competitors), driving individually on marked routes.

Locations with a “Crafter appeal“

Triad Berlin searched all over Germany to find locations with the special “Crafter appeal.” We found them in Potsdam, Nürnberg, Euskirchen, and Hannover. The salespeople were surprised and enthusiastic about the industrial charm of an old cloth factory, as well as the feudal, agricultural atmosphere at a manorial estate.
