Berlin, 24 April 2009: Following the motto “Answers for Industry“, Triad Berlin produced a trade fair stand for Siemens AG at Hannover Messe 2009. Exhibited from April 20 to 24, 2009, the stand had a total floor space of 3,400 sqm. Following the successful cooperation between Triad and Siemens in 2008, this year, Triad was also responsible for the complete media production.
The architecture of the stand reflects the size and power of Siemens and presents the specific competencies of the company in the field of “Motion, Drive&Automation”. The open stand architecture provides for a quick orientation of the visitors and leads them immediately toward the centre of the stand. Here, the Siemens Drives Alley, an exhibition axis that runs across the length of the stand, presents the complete Siemens portfolio in Drive Technologies.
The interplay of architecture and media creates a specific mediatecture, which is the outstanding feature of the stand. Three media lifters covered with 6x3 m LED screens catch the eye of the visitor. They can be lifted to 9 meters of height and thus attract attention from afar.
The motion design and films that are presented on the screens of the media lifters correspond with the architecture and lighting installations of the trade fair stand. Forming the basic module of the architecture, the cube is taken up and developed further as a central element of the motion design. The films focus on international orientation of Siemens as a global corporation and present the company as a systems provider in a multitude of areas.
The back wall of the stand is structured by back-lit cubes. This three-dimensional sculpture acts as a snap-shot of a dynamic movement and lends power and expression to the stand. The sophisticated light controls allow for the creation of a choreography that is ideally geared to the design of product presentation and media installations on the stand.
Triad Berlin was responsible for master planning, architecture, design, media production, implementation planning and construction management.
