Triad China Ltd. Is Gaining Momentum
In the course of Triad Berlin’s growing internationalization, the Agency for Communication in Spaces opens a new office in Shanghai on August 26th, 2011. The founding of Triad China Ltd. provides the opportunity to strengthen our engagement in China and to take the best possible care of our local projects. The branch office is located in the heart of Shanghai, to the immediate south of the French Concession, in the trendy creativity quarter “Bridge 8.” This is the perfect environment for our interdisciplinary and multicultural team to set new standards as Triad China Ltd. in the Middle Kingdom.
“From now on, we offer the best of both worlds on site. German design – with a Chinese phrasing. We are looking forward to take on new challenges and to impress our Chinese but also our international clients with our projects,” says Fabian Schludi, General Manager of Triad China.
The decisive factors for the expansion were, apart from the tremendous success of our Chinese theme pavilion “Urban Planet” at the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai, numerous project queries as well as projects underway in China. In the context of the world exhibition, Triad’s team has already organized high-profile customer events in China for DHL and Daimler.
Talks are being held with the EXPO successor company and the city of Tieling, situated north of Beijing, for an immediate follow-up project of the “Urban Planet.” The plan is to advance the basic concept of the theme pavilion for a target group of young people so that another generation will become aware of the importance of sustainability and takes action in this regard.
„The topics of sustainability and urban development are more and more on people’s minds these days, especially in China. Thus there is really no better point in time to strengthen our engagement in China and to exhibit both our international competence and our creative diversity on site than now,” says Lutz Engelke, CEO of Triad Berlin/Triad China.
A second major project has already opened its doors in April 2011: the Visitors’ Experience Center of Qinhu Wetland National Park. On a floor space of 4,500 square meters, up to 10,000 visitors per day are educated about the importance of protecting wetlands and their unique ecosystems.
Three other major projects are in the planning stage.
