Countdown for Video Contest
The result of our “Berlin is in! Are you?” call for shooting is impressive: 80 different diaries about 5 September were uploaded. The 24h Berlin team has now opened an online competition for the best videos. The public and a professsional jury will both award prizes. The countdown will end on 12 March 2009.
A professional jury will select the best three films out of all the videos that were recorded in Berlin during the day of the 24h Berlin shot and that were uploaded on the website. Members of the jury will be Dieter Kosslick (Berlin International Film Festival), Volker Heise (zero one film), Dr. Claudia Nothelle (TV director at rbb Television), Dr. Hans Hege (mabb), and Robert Eysoldt (Triad Berlin).
Furthermore, every video will have yet another chance to win. In addition to the Jury Award, the videos that will have received the most online votes will also win a prize. Users can vote for their favorite video on www.24hberlin.tv until 12 March 2009.
Moreover, every Berlin video that was shot on 5 September 2009 has the chance of becoming part of the 24-hour TV project, which will be broadcast on rbb Television and ARTE on 5 September 2009.
